Another rare 99 color: Fern Green Metallic?
Anybody ever seen or heard of a 99 fern green camaro or Firebird.
I've seen it, on two diff web sights now, that it was available sometime in 99.
Bright green metallic was supposedly dropped in oct of 98 for the 99 year.so not many were built, but then a fern green metallic was supposed to have been made available sometime in 99.

Forgot to say that color is not in the 99 brochure either.
The bright green metallic is, but the brochure was probably made in june, + the color only cancelled in oct

How do you know that it was called Fern??Without it being in the brochure or listed anywhere...we would need to see a window sticker that states that name or a build sheet to compare color codes to a bright green color code.
Sometimes (not saying you or your sources) people get names all crossed up or "invent" names like "Midnight Blue" instead of Navy Blue Metallic or burnt orange instead of Sunset Orange Metallic....
Sounds interesting though...

The sites are actually : camarossworld.com I reread it
+ it looks like it was ctually written in late 99 because it doen't have the 2000 cars Data yet, + it says they think the 01 cars may be the last year the camaro's will be built. then there is a little thing that says this data has not been confirmed. So it may be a false alarm.
But camaro ss world also has something about it,but i couldn't get around on their sight too well with the web tv.It may be the same info as the 1st site.
Somewhere in the very back of my little brain I vaguely remember seeing a VERY light green convert somewhere years ago + thinking that must be rare,+ was trying to figure out if it may have been this fern green, but it could have been an earlier car, but i know it was at least a 93 + up.
Dont know, + it never hurts to ask.But unless its SUPER rare i think there would be more knowledge of it by now.

dark blue metallic- 2000z28(HM-6)
Never seen it or heard of it. There was a Corvette color I beleive called fairway green, maybe that is what it is mistaken for.
