About to buy this ss!!!what u think???

hey Im about to buy this camaro ss on wednesday.I looked at it the other day and its real clean. The only thing wrong with it is a minor exaust leak and it isnt california smog legal. Both minor problems. I just sold mine today, so im really serious. What do you guys think about it? Estimate on horsepower maybe??? Thanks in advance

Yeah looks good and has some goodies to boot. Ad makes no mention of engine mods so I would assume stock HP other than headers and whatever other bolts-on may have been added. Grill the owner and rack up some miles before you handover the cash, good luck!

Damn, congrats on selling yours so quickly, what did you get for it? just curious because im local and when i saw your post i was thinking of selling the z28 i just bought and picking up your SS.

as far as hp, i think full exhaust ls1's usually put down around 350hp, to the wheels......im sure someone with full exhaust will chime in.

good luck on the buy, the car looks awesome. Like megofast said, just make sure you put some miles on it before you buy it.

Too many things changed on it to suit me. But if it's something you like, the price doesn't seem terrible. If no major problems it should be a decent car. For the age mileage isn't bad.

Looks nice, findout what bolt ons are on and have itg tuned so its running nice. Prewarning I live in the bay don't drive that thing in fremont, rosetti will impound it looks sexy though exactly what wanted on mine minus the strips.

Thats a nice car, Most likely it has all the free mods with a Lid also. I have seen bone stock 01-02 LS1s put down 315-325 to the wheels..

That's the exact exhaust setup I've got... quiet as a whisper at idle - loud as hell at WOT! And it has NO RASP! Was gunna gut the cats or take 'em off all together but I like the quiet idle

Are stock cars with just full exhaust (maybe a lid?) really putting down 315-330RWHP on a good tune? M6 or A4? Sounds like alot to me, just curious

And if it's a true SS with an SLP number, I could see that as a fair asking price. In my area it wouldn't go for that by any means, but like they say.... location is everything

It's funny I was lookin at car too I was gonna go see it tomorow I live 10 min away from that car. I seen that car parked at that persons house. He dnt even drive it. I used to pass for that house just to see it lol.
