99 Z28 vs. 02 Audi S4

Allright, so I almost killed

one of my coworkers today when he very seriously said to everyone on the showroom floor that a bone stock Audi S4 sedan would "anally rape" my z28.

I looked him dead on the eye and said "Mother f**ker, you have no damn clue what yer saying... anytime you wanna put some money up, I'd be glad to take it from you... and after I kill the Audi, Im comin back fer you..." My other coworkers had to pull me away. Im normally pretty laid back, and do accept quite a bit of ribbing on about my car. I cant help being a proud owner, but something about him trying to state that the p.o.s Audi had more guns than my 99' put me in the red. Anybody here think I was wrong? Stats on the Audi are around 260 h/p twin turbo, awd 6spd manual. Im running lt's, ory, slp lid, hurst short throw.

You should have him, but if I am right those S4s ran mid 13s for the 04 model and 14.1s for the 01 models.
As long as you dont mis a shift your fine, go ahead and race him for money.

my buddy has one at school and he said i would rape him, his is an '01. he also said he raced a z28 back home and got his ass handed to him. i have rode in his and i gotta admit they are real f'n nice. but you will eat his lunch fo sho

u should have him throughout the whole RPM range. remember they gotta spin up them turbos.

One of my friends raced a stock 02 S4 with his 98 TA A4 and beat him fairly easy. He only had a lid at the time.

the only thing he has on you is the all wheel drive for traction, I have the same issue with a guy and his 05 S4 which is a V8, always talking shit, I won't race him just to piss him off even more, I just keep reminding him that he would be crushed if I beat him and he paid 50K for his car...My brother drove it and said it's pretty fast...1st gear is almost useless and too low but once he gets into 2nd & 3rd it has some pull...by then I would think he'd be looking at my CME...haha

The S4 would make a nice family car, but I'd get an AWD 300C SRT8 instead.

The S4 is too small for my liking and not worth the money they sell for in my opininon, I'll take a trailblazer SS awd as a family car anyday over any yuppie family sports sedans...that doesn't mean the SRT8...I like that.

Don't take this wrong I like camaros but the audi can be a animal. It has been awhile like couple years since I read this but as long as it is s4 your good if it is a s4rs they have a Displacement 4.2 L Max. Output 420 hp @ 7,800 rpm
Max. Torque 317 lb-ft @ 5,500 rpm Top Speed Top speed is electronically limited at 155 mph
but like I said been awhile since I read up on them

but like I said been awhile since I read up on them

You got it right, those are fast cars but still big money...In my opinion they shouldn't even be compared to a F body...apples and oranges...with a few mods you can make them wish they didn't spend all that $

Its a funny situation seeing as how my Dad was once an avid Audi driver, then he bought the SS that I am not driving because he has moved back to the Bavarian Motor Works.

The Audi is nice, and traction is cool, but that big son of a bitch V8 you have in the Z is gonna pull early and as long as you shift well, you will keep your distance...

My SS has SLP lip, SLP Y Pipe, Loud Mouth, and some other small things... and I beat my Dads '07 BMW 335 Twin Turbo on the roll, but he caught me on the luanch...

My brother(I have 7 of them) is a BMW tech and he said those 335TT are fast.

They are very fast. That Beamer gets up and goes... We raced from a 30 MPH Roll... my reaction launch is quicker being an M6, while my Dad has the paddle shifters...

When we raced from a stop, his launch was much quicker and he held me at about 3/4 car length but we did not go much past 75 MPH...

Might I add that 335 is a gorgeous lookin car...

But back the Audi... I think he should take em for sure...
