6500 may not be bad but the way i look at it, if your going to spend this much money get what you want be afraid to drive anywhere or anytime. if its a DD i would want less miles

Buy it!!!!! If you don't I will! That is a great price, but as always, offer him 6K!!!

Don't listen to everyone else. This is what this car is worth and you will have lots of fun with it. But be prepared to rebuild the engine in another 30K to 40K.

Alright, I bought it and I love it. Guy smogged it with the long tubes on with the Magnaflow catback. He had to install Cats though, It has about 2" clearance from bottom of cat to ground. I scrape everywhere. It took away the nice loud exhaust tone, but suprisingly, it seems to run a lot smoother with some backpressure. More bottom end torque. Nice....

going to go take some photos of it later... And I am going to take some pics of the 67 Bird.

I ended getting it for 6K, Happy..... so I am going to post some pics of the Firebird and its engine... Does anyone know what engine this is, because I know its not the sprinter OHC? Or should I just drop a 350 in there?

BRB: need to learn how to post pics...

That looks like a line 6 motor.....only one valve cover.

but all the OHC motors had a shape like that of a hondas or toyotas cam cover on the front. I have been looking for hours for an engine set up that looks like this and I can't find it anywhere

ok, found it.... its an inline 6 230cubic inches 140hp ... This is not the original engine i think. The pontiacs had the OHC inline 6. Looks like an engine swap is in order... now, what should i put in there? HMMMMMM....... thanks konigandy for the heads up.
