    99 Camaro SS 107k for $8999?

I found a stock 99 SS #3452 (Only has a perforance MAF). It's just a 1 owner car in great condition. Doesn't seem to have any issues. I could probably get the price down a bit since it's "OBO". Does this seem like a good deal? Anything I should look for on this particular model/year that may have some problems with 107k miles? Thanks everyone!

Yeah I know the SS is 320HP to the flywheel. I am wondering about Rear Wheel numbers...I know they are usually quite a bit less so I am just curious.

a stock 99 SS should put out a little over 300@the wheels with a 6spd, and a little under 300 with an auto.

Research does show the SS is rated at 320hp/335tq and a Z28 is 305hp/335/tq. So I dont know if that's totally true but they have some SLP parts...that's an SS, it's not just the lid.

yea a SS, Z28, formula, TA, WS6, all make the same power. Its just GM's #s says on paper. They only say the SS makes more power so they could get ppl to fork over the extra few thousand to buy one. The only different is power is A4 vs. M6 as F&Ybodlover all ready mentioned.

107k isn't shit. now adays, it's just being "broke in." i've heard guys with 50k having to replace trannies, rears, etc... i've also heard of guys with 178k on a completely stock car. like mine. look at the Maintnence. in minnesota, it's probably seen snow, and salt. which is bad. check the undercarraige for rust. personally, i'd offer him 8 flat. and work around it that way.

mileage isn't the biggest concern you should have. you should look at if they are highway, or city miles. if the car has been babied, or if it has been beaten like a red headed step child. i know it's hard to tell if he's feeding you a ton of bull shit. but if he's got a lot of leaks or has had to do a lot of repairs, that could be a warning sign.
