    98 ss

    I was wondering what is the major difference between the 1998 and 1999 camaro because slp makes a heads and cam package only for 1999 and up and they also have 400 hp package for 1999 and up i was just wondering what the difference was?

    All the hard parts for the `99 will bolt up on the `98 it's just the Programer (Diablo) that SLP uses doesn't have a model for `98 cars. `98's use a different ECM then `99-Up cars.

    I spoke to the Diablo rep at Super Summit about this, as I have th 98 ss as well. He told me they recently hired a "GM Guy" who wants to expand the product line, to include the 98's among other things. So I keep checking, as I am thinking about one for down the road. Either that or I might just have mine dyno tuned around here... Not sure yet. I wanna get all the mods I want on it for now then do that.

    No i havent found out about it. I really want to upgrade my car but i dont know what would fit or what ever. I am thinking about selling mine and getting a 99 because there is everything for a 99 but not a 98
