On exhaust, its a matter of preference, I personally am a fan of true duals, but if you want to keep the y-pipe Magnaflow and Corsa's are pretty nice with a good sound, and Ive been hearing alot about the new Jeg's catback and it sounds pretty damn good and its only $250.

I agree, pacessetters seem to fit for everyone, they are proven to gain power and fit and they are cheap.

Here's what you want and what I would do if i could do it all over again:

    1. Pacessetter Headers
    2. X-pipe 2nd choice- Y-pipe
    3. Dumped Duals 2nd choice- Jegs Catback

Xpipe is shaped like a x. It allows true duals.Stock exhaust will not work. HP gains are seen with these.

Y pipe is shaped like a Y and goes to the stock exhaust.

x-pipe sounds deeper and will be louder with true duals

y-pipe still has hp gain just like the x-pipe, but usually produces unwanted raspy sound unless you install a cat

X-Pipe gives more of a HP gain

I have the Dynatech LT and Borla system w/ 3"...and Y pipe. A bit more expensive, but for the cheaper brands I have heard pace, kooks, and corsa are good.

I put pacesetter longtubes on my car and really like them except they bang on the floor boards or maybe its the pacesetter y pipe. When I first put them on I had the loudmouth 1 and it was loud as fuck. I seriously scared the shit out of some old man one day after i got off work and that was only half throttle. fun for two weeks then got sick of it and now I have a sweet thunder on there. I would suggest gettin something like the loudmouth that you can change out the muffler because I have had four different ones and I still want a different sound. and stainless headers for $200 THEY MUST FIT LIKE SHIT. What I have learned from cars you get what you pay for, it sucks when you do a mod ten times. I want to ditch the catback and get true duals I think thats the sound Im looking for.

I would also suggest gettin a tune, and if your putting the headers on yourself have fun it sucks your first time, but i think after that its much easier. take the coil packs off on the passenger side.

Yeah my car is up and running correctly. I am waiting for my SLP lid STILL. My Y pipe should be delivered today. I got a fucked up bearing on my tensioner I believe it is. That is definitely annoying.
