To me, F bodies are for performance oriented driving.
That to me is clutch actuated.
You can spend some coin and beef up an auto but, unless it's got paddles on the wheel it's not performance.
Give me a 6 speeder with a shit hot clutch set up anytime.
    You like driving in traffic?
I don't know anyone who does and the ones who do have commuter cars.
What does having paddles do as far as performance? With a manual tranny one hand is in the cener console so why would a console mounted shifted negate performance?

I've had a M6 for 10 years now. I love driving it on the street. When I'm racing it at the track, I wish I had an Auto...hands down.

You are 100% correct. But I can also push in the clutch and rev at "biches" going thru town. Cant really do that with an auto and if it wasnt for punaner I would drive a Fiat 500.

You talking drag racing or road racing.?
Drag racing I don't really care what to run.
Road racing? stick all the way.

You can do that but I dont like to throw my car in neutral and then back in to gear. Not sure if it hurts it but dont really like doing that.

Ton of people have said what it really comes down to:

A: If you're a Driver, and you want to hone your driving skills, m6 will allow you the most control of your vehicle.
B: If you're just a cool cat who has great taste in cars, likes to go fast here and there, but mostly to get you here-to-there, go Auto.

I have had a few 5/6 speed cars and sometime I miss being able to shift. They are fun but if u have a 4l60e w a b&m shift kit and a stall they are amazing. I spent less then 1k on the yank SS3600 stall, shift kit, and trans cooler and it will jump sideways when it shifts 2nd at almost 50 mph and u just cant beat it off the line. Always in the power !
