I was thinking that very thing, saw you were from Canada and figured you were using the metric system for your math.
Didn't think anyone else cought on to that.

    '98 Z28

My old '98 TA, I would average around 24 mpg on a given fill up. Best was 30 mpg on a highway trip. The '98 Z28 I have now routinely gets 21 mpg, with a top of 24 mpg and a low of 19 mpg. The car is stock and I know the previous owner messed with tuning a bit.

id question a lot of you guy's findings ...how are you finding this out...are you just dividing the tank into quarters or what have you and using your mileage...it is important to remember that our gauges do not read linearly...or how many of you are filling up and then going on your trip and comparing the exact gallons to miles

I fill up, drive, fill up again and use a calculator to calculate how many gal I used per miles on that trip

Like 400 miles divided by 16 gal of fuel used would be 25 mpg lol

lol i know that..but how do you get the 16 gal of fuel...do you look at the pump to see..also in order to do it properly you need to fill the car up at the same pump and with the same amount of clicks (easiest is just to stop at the first auto stop.) im not doubting you..id just be curious how many people actually do it.

Ya I look at the pump and keep all my receipts idk why, I like to know what I'm getting for mileage, especially with my car and bike, the truck just makes me depressed haha
