Bright Rally Red- 2002 SS Camaro vert
I just payed 14,500.00 for an 02 ss 6spd vert with 20,000 1 owner miles on it at a dealership in long island. they were asking 17,999.00 but i talked him down to 14,500 on the phone before i went down to get it. I probably could have gotten it a little lower.

Not Spanked
Naja4life did not get spanked at that price because that is what they were going for back then. The economy has screwed up our car Market lately if you are trying to sell but you are in great shape if you want to buy. The vettes are down too just like the Camaros and Trans Ams. I watched e-bay for the last 7 years and have seen the decline with the US economy.

yep, 2 years ago i got my 00 ws6 with 12k miles on it for $17k. that was BY FAR the cheapest i found within 500 miles. in fact i had to drive to virginia to get it. anywhere in ohio for a >20k mile cars were well over $20k. and i searched for almost a year.
but that sounds like a fair price, if its the car you really want, get it. but dont settle, like if youd rather have a 6spd then its not worth it.Last edited by mpfranks; 02-11-2009 at 10:44 PM.

well that IMO the past 3 post have said the same 17gs with about 15-25,000 miles NAJA bought his with 40,000 not 19,000 or 20,000 40,000 IMO i think that he could have bought that car for about 15,500 but like i said its w.e enjoy your car , things like this happen in the economy. What goes up must come down and what goes down must go up. our cars have been holding very good value for a while staying around 45-55% of its original value which is awesome but it could not last forever. In anther 5-10 years our cars will start to rise in value agian maybe sooner or later but they will .
But hey what do i know???????
Nothing lol

I came across a 01 6spd in Wisconsin 4 days ago , for $11000, with only 17,000 miles.
Was a hard top, no T-tops, but still, at that price who cares.
I almost sold mine, to go get it, then I slapped myself and came back to the real world.

in NJ i'm surprised that car isn't going for $20,000. I paid $22,000 for mine with 22,000 miles on it (dollar a mile rofl) but mine is a 2002 m6

Red- 2002 Camaro SS
maybe... I was trying to get him to come off some money but he wouldn't budge at all
ture I think at the time I bought it.. the car booked around $19,000... so I was okay with it since I always wanted a SS..... and well it was completley stock besides a SLP lid... didn't even have tinted windows when I bought it

Black- 1999 SS Camaro #4,510
yeah i no what you mean, i bought myn with 60,000 2 years ago he was asking $13000 i got it for 11,800 it had NO MODS just SLP factory upgrades so i was happy, i bought camaros before that were modded up and i winded up buying someone else problem, so stock was what i wanted so .... like i said if you want something and you have the money buy it its just money it comes and goes..... it sounds weird but the ss (ls1) was always my dream car, i remember detailing them wishing one day i get one so when i found one that was mint i didnt hesitate.
Long post lol sorry guys just rambling lol

that being your dream car doesnt sound weird. the ws6 was mine. i think we like them so much and think of them as a dream car because they are attainable. its your dream car within reason. i mean i think if you could have any car in the world, youd be crazy to pick an fbody, lol.
and im with you. i wanted a totally stock car too. wanted it to be custom to me
