good mileage but without the bells and whistles, (i.e. power everything, leather) you should be able to talk them down some.

Blue- 2002 Z28 Camaro M6
That price seems really high to me, even with the lower miles. I know you said she wants something a little slower, but you might consider the Z28 with a M6 if she does alot of driving on the highway. From what I understand the M6 can actually get better mileage on the highway (I have no experience with owning V6 Camaro and am only basing this on what I have heard).

Red- 2000 Camaro SS M6
Just to give you an idea, I bought my 2000 SS M6 (fully loaded, mint cond.) with 40k on the clock for under 12 from a private seller back in october. I'd either look for the next car, or argue down the price and make it seem like the car is only in 'good' condition.
Another tip is to look at as many appraisal websites as possible and find the one with the lowest price. Edmunds.com and NADA just to name a few. Work them so they are to YOUR advantage. Believe me, you won't be hurting a car salesman's feelings, hah.

For 11, you could get a decent z28 m6.

1999 Camaro SS #24- 98 Corvette-99 Camaro SS
Also remember that sources like KBB and NADA have not been recalculated to reflect the extremely low market value we have right now. Vehicles are selling at lots around here for about trade in price from those sources.

Yeah, I can't imagine that car cost any much more than $18 new, if even that being such a low base model.
