2001 SS Battery Change
My positive battery terminal has a male hex head and I do not have a wrench to fit it. Does it require a special tool and where can I get one.

you talking about the side posts on the battery? I have a 99cent cresent wrench from auto zone or something like that I keep in the glove box. works in a pinch if you dont have the correct size. careful not to strip them - you can replace the studs but for that mater you could buy a wrench and not strip em'
old habits die hard - I always keep tools with me.
I guess if ya have it, you wont need it.

Battery Terminal
Thanks for all the help.
I finally decided to remove it and when I finally decided to use a vise grip (ouch) I found that the stock bolt had been replaced with a brass coated steel fastener. It broke off (due to it having been severly weakened, disimiliar metals) and I removed it from the connector.
I have repalced it with the stock style bolt and everything is fine.
