    2001 Camaro Z28

    2001 Camaro Z28 - The Chophouse

    Hey all, been a while! After I sold my 98 TA I never lost the Itch for LS1 power, and now, I have it again! Picked up this low k (145) 01 Z28 as a roller from a good buddy that intended this car to become a road race car, but after looking at it more, it's too clean to subject to that. Picked up a Ls1/t56 drop out, grabbed some goodies!

    As of right now motor is 90% together, and should spring to life this weekend.










    Plan is to get it out, enjoy it for this season and get some track days in. Over winter I plan to source SS Hood/SS Spoiler, some rims and rubber (still on fence with what rim I'll be going with) and maybe lower it slightly.

    Timing cover and oil pan are getting cleaned up, should be back on the T56 tonight, and in car tomorrow. Plumb it, flash ECU so it'll start and it will live!
