What does it take to make one of these cars run 7.99 in the 8th mile?

Saw one at the track today that ran a 7.99 at 93 mph.

I know the car had long tube headers but not really sure of what else.

Thinking of getting one if I can find a good deal.

What size is the ls1 motor? 5.7 or 6.0?

No not getting rid of it. Just thinking about getting an ss also if I can find one for a good price around here.

it all depends how you want to do it, but i'm sure some sticky tires, gears and a full exhaust and tune will get you there...and if your auto..a stall and a m6 would need a clutch for the high rpm drop.
