Black- 2000 Camaro SS
2000 Camaro SS upgrades
This car actually done not belong to me (though I'm in the f-body family, my own being a '79 Trans Am WS6), but to a friend of mine.
It's dead stock with about 110k miles on it, it's a California car, and it's automatic (to this day I still can't tell if manuals were available in Cali).
He's looking for upgrades, so I thought I'd come to you guys to see what you recommend.
Simple things are welcome, but he's also mentioned interest in a turbo set up--I wondered if any of you have experience there.
Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!

Pewter- 1999 Camaro SS-M6 #1775
well, start off with opening up the intake and exhaust, ive got the SLP intake and soon going to have a Magnaflow catback. you can really get a jump from exhaust depending on if it has to be emissions legal. you would have to ask the guys in the forced induction part about the turbo.
theres pretty much endless possibilities and it also depends of how much money he wants to spend.1999 Camaro SS/ Pewter/ #1775 - LS1 6-speed - Predator 3 Custom Tune - Pro 5.0 - LS7 Clutch - 3.90's - Koni's - Strano Springs and Sway Bars - SFC's - Full UMI Chassis and Suspension - LS6 Intake PnP TB - ARH LT's and Kitty Ran Away - Magnaflow.

Seems like he's willing to spend what it takes--I think he's looking for a better estimate than I can give him in the world of turbocharging. I was kind of hoping to find a person or two that has completed a turbo set up, to see what they spent overall.
He's already redone the exhaust, but in a Cali-legal fashion. I know it's not what it could be.
Personally, I don't care about passing smog inspection, I have my own ways (my Trans Am was previously pushing 320hp, as compared to its stock '185,' and I still had my ways of 'passing'....this current build I'm working on should be hitting right close to 400hp).
