2000 camaro
why is it that people think just because you own a camaro that you want vett. ? This is not the case for me do not really like looks of vets , however like the power . It just bothers me every time someone says look a vet wana be sorry not the case personally cant stand it drives me nuts.

2. What was your complaint?67 Camaro: K-K + 797-z (look it up), 454/Th400/4.10 12-bolt = 6mpg, PS/PDB/PW tilt, tach, gauges...
2005 Corvette LS2/M6 Magnetic Red Metallic (What else would it be?) w/ Cashmere interior
2002 Z28: NBM/Tan, MTI smooth lid, smooth bellows, !AIR, !cats, 1-3/4" QTP SS LT's, 2-1/2" TD's with X-pipe, MagnaFlows dumped at axle, custom welded SFC's, MidWest Chassis body mount adjustable T/A, 3400 stall, 3.23 gears (was 2.73). Tuned: 343rwhp/357rwt (before TD's). Best: 12.559 @ 108+, 1.73 60' @ 3500' DA w/MT ET Street DR's.

Thank you. At least now I know what you are talking about.
And in reply: I don't know why and I've wondered too. I've always liked the "Poor man's Vette" (I have an ad from 1966 that put it that way but in the form of a question).
I bought my 1st Camaro (a 69 SS 396) in 1974 and have had a 1st gen (in some way shape or form - I've had 10 of them, mostly 67's) since 1978. I happen to like them over a Corvette myself so don't feel alone.

Maybe OP its because if they know what they are talking about, they know that they share the same motor (in our cases/not all cases) Thats one reason maybe I've never had this problem, but I do want a Vette
EDIT: Only if that Vette has a Z on the badge, wouldn't trade my SS for a base model for all the world┌∩┐(◕_◕)┌∩┐

i am aware they have same motor in some cases its not that its the style of the body that i dont care for . I have a buddy that owns a vet and get along great with him nothing personal just dont like vets that much there are a few that i like z06 zr1 but still thing i would rather own a camaro just my thoughts
