2000 B4C Performance
Can anyone tell me if the 2000 B4C Police camaros had more performance than a standard LS1 camaro. My car has the LS1/6speed combo and it was a working police car.

It's a Z28 without the Z28 badges.

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
When it was a cop car it might have been dyno tuned for more output but by law it would have to have been reflashed to a stock tune for resale.
As has been said, it's a Z28 w/o the badges.
I should add that it has heavy duty everything though. I believe the brakes are different also.Last edited by 67CamaroRSSS; 11-18-2008 at 07:07 AM.

Well, mine still has the back seats but they did cut the console right behind the cup holder and had their computer mounted where the console storage lid would be. Our car was an under cover or unmarked. It had the lights mounted inside the car and never had any stickers on the outside. It even has full limo tinted windows.

RED 35TH ANIVERSARY PKG- 2002 CAMARO SS 35th LE
they are the same tune as stock.. and they is nothing special about them either.. The only different is alt, some cooling hoses. and some suspension work. I would rather buy one with low mileage than get a beat up cop car...
just my .02

i agree with the low mile car rather than a cop car. especially the way they are driven here.

RED 35TH ANIVERSARY PKG- 2002 CAMARO SS 35th LE
I guess.... thats your opinion... If I wanted a rare camaro I would get a LE edition or dale or any other of the gmmg cars.. People think that just because it a police edition camaro its super fast, When in fact its not. Same goes with CHP edition impallas... And I don't really care for rare cars cuz they are only worth something when they have low miles. I bought my car to drive not sit and look pretty..

Well....Not all of us can afford to buy a perfectly clean low mile car. Like I stated before, I only paid 6100 for this car and it is not completely beat up. The car has 124000 mi on it and it is a complete sleeper. It looks like a 6cyl car. I doesn't have any badging and it is a fixed roof. I do want to buy that dream car one day but we all have to play within our budget. At the time a clean low mileage car here in the pacific NW was going for 15000 or higher.
Here is a pic of when we picked it up. (3-21-2007)
