Honestly, there is alot of pieces in your door, so, it is hard to pinpoint the cause of your problem. Take your door panel off. Put the window up and then remove the plastic weather shield. Move the glass around and see if any of the window track braces are moving where they attach to the door. Sometimes the bolts loosen and get outta wack.

theres a metal piece on ur window that goes in a track, it makes the window go back when u roll it up and go forward when u roll it down and most likely the peice that is attached to the window has broken away from the window.

I had the helper spring drop out in my driver side door. That may be what it is. It's pretty simple to take the door skin off. Just take it off and check it out.

Just pray your factory rivets didn't let go...that's what happened to mine with that exact description. There are 3 of them that hold everything in place. Each time you "roll" the window up, or down, it places a strain on them...sooner or later I guess....at least with mine, one finally broke. A guy at at a local body shop did the job better than the factory,(paid him under the table for about $200.00). I guarantee it won't happen again with the monster bolts [all 3] he put in. At least on the driver's side.

I should have mentioned that my door was so badly damaged that he also had to custom cut two pieces of aluminum to support the factory braces, it wasn't just drilling out the remaining rivets, and dropping in 3 bolts.
