So I want to do the throttle body bypass on my car but I wanted to know if rather than using the the hose connector would it be possible just to use 1 longer hose? Anybody know if any hose from a different car will work for this purpose?

I used a piece of coated brake line and fabbed a bypass on our car - works great and doesn't look too bad. I don't know of a specific hose application that can be used for this purpose.

No it wont work there are 2 different tube sizes required and it will leak.

By memory you need 1/4 and 3/16ths tubing and a coupler with those sizes and 4 hose clamps.

Don't leave too much slack or your going to have it rubbing your accessory drive belt/pulleys.

Here are a couple of pics of how I bypassed the throttle body on our car. In the first pic, you can see that it attaches to the crossover tube with a rubber line. If you look closely, you'll see a union under the sheath where the tubing size changes over to match the radiator. The second pic shows it routed under the air inlet and to the radiator where it again has a rubber hose for the connection.
