1999 Camaro seat cushions
Does anyone know if the drivers and passenger seat cushions - top and bottom - on a 1999 Camaro Z interchange? I have some wear on the drivers bolster and wondered if I could find a used passenger seat, could I swap those cushions or covers for my drivers cushions. I have been able to do that on C4 Corvettes which was a good, inexpensive solution. Surely I can find a salvage Z with a good passenger seat and swap it in for my worn cushions. It surely would be a cheaper solution than buying a complete set of covers from Classic plus I would be assured the leather would match the factory leather.

LOL!!! I was just making fun of our cars, is all. The very first thing I noticed as soon as I turned the steering wheel the first time in my car was the lack of boslter support. It's been a gripe of mine since day 1.

Is there anyone out there who has done this? They look the same, but I dont want to destroy a seat in order to find out if someone has already done the swap. Need some help here. Thanks.

Actually, according to an upholstery shot that fixed my convertible top, the patches or sections of leather/vinyl cannot be "swapped" without redoing the whole seat, because it is impossible (?) to follow the original stitching that mates two pieces together. You say you've done it before, so maybe they were lying to me.
