In a past life this Little Nova was a $3,500 street machine until the motor expired. By then, the father-and-son team took another look and decided it was up for a complete restoration. The chassis was rebuilt and the subframe was sandblasted. Living in the Corn Belt lended the opportunity to run 11.5:1 compression in the 417ci small-block with E85 fuel. To regulate the alcohol, they planted a Quick Fuel Technology 750-cfm carburetor and a Race Pumps billet fuel pump. After the House of Kolors paint they fitted the Nova back together with a TH400 and an Eaton Detroit Locker with Moser axles. Wheels are Weld Rodlites on Mickey Thompson rubber.
