i run a staggered fit on my 02 ss with a 18 x 8.5 rim 245/45 nitto tire in the front with no rub to the body or chasis. on the rear 18 x 10 rim 285/40 nitto tire, rubs on the passenger rear side fender weld only when i hit a bump at high speed or i have passengers in the rear. anything wider than stock(9.5)its gonna rub unless you modify (cut away at your car) or you have money to spend. 18s in my opinion look good there not to big for the car. good luck!

Just curious - did you drop it any to go with the 17/18 combo?

    18's on mine. SSR rims.

305/30's on the rear, Kumho. (They barely cleared width wise so I hammered the panel in until I was kill feel it hitting dead just to be sure.)

    255/35's on the front, Pirelli.

I like the 18's look the best. 19's are nice...just a hair too big for my taste, but I like them better than 17's. I think even at 18's you have to consider suspension and shock package a bit. By 19's you'd better consider it. 19's aren't going to absorb much shock at all. With 20's you are bout railroading!
