    11.91 at 116/117 MPH. Best 60' was a 1.68 on MT ET Street Radials. Always hitting the limiter from trying to drag the RPM out too far. Need driver mod badly. Hence why I want to switch to a 4L80E.... maybe with a trans brake

    NOICE! IMO any car that gets kicked outta the track for being too fast is well worth respecting. The guy I bought my WS6 off of is building a 64 Dart and he's expecting that to happen when he runs it lol.

    I didn't blow the rear at all, in fact it had 12K miles on it when I swapped it for the 9". I've built pretty much everything I need to for some more serious power, just haven't added the power yet.

    4.11 gearing I still end up in 4th, same as I did with the stock 3.42. However, I'm more in the power band as opposed to just shifting into 4th crossing the quarter mile marker. Can't exactly remember at what RPM I end up at with the 4.11 gear in 4th, but it's quick shifting out of the gate.

    Let me know how yours does getting lowered with the 9". I'm scared to even try mine since the torque arm had to be massaged into the floor boards... lol I don't know how much lower I can go.

    Lowered.

    Tried both....just felt better in the middle hole. Short times didn't show a difference.
    Although, that is with the bog. Once I figure that out, I will try the different locations again.

    my first track day my best time was

    9.27 sec 1/8 mile @ 78.94mph w/ 2.29sec 60'

    i would launch around 2k-2500 rpms,

    tried dumping the clutch, letting it out almost all the way and then out etc.. pretty much tried everything. i think i just need practice

    never really spun tho!

    All i had at the time was LM1 Catback w/ Firestone Wide Oval 245s

    i see your from ny? what track do you go to? i go to ny lebonan valley im guessing thats your track also?

    longtube, slp cold pack, slp maf, 85mm BBK tb, tune at vengeance
    01 ss camaro m6 351 rwhp, best pass 13 flat with wheel hope in 2nd.
    3 pass and the best time came in the 2nd pass
    street tires with 18ld of air
