Black 2002 T/A M6- Green 1997 Ram 4x4
Eh, I'd wait and see if the Camaro flops or not.
If it does, then the ones that are produced will be collector cars and grow in value in 5-10 yrs as opposed to 50.
If the 'maro is a success, however, and we get continued production, go with the Vette. Faster, better looking, and slightly better gas mileage.

Lmao. GM doing their whole "Don't make the Camaro compete with the 'vette" seems to be dooming the Camaro

Jetstream Blue Metallic- 2008 Z06 Corvette
I'm in the same boat. I'm so close to selling my car [again] and plunking down the cash for a Corvette. I'm one of those people who want to always think practically, but at this point I think my own line of thinking is backfiring on me. I have a DD, a fun car to drive that gets great MPG, and the Camaro. But I don't want to put a million miles on the Camaro, and I HATE to admit it to myself, but I don't want to sit in an hours worth or more of traffic any more than the car does with that cam and clutch (after market and very hard to push on) everyday.
So, I'm considering selling both the Camaro, and the DD and buying a new Vette. So I get 6 MPG less with the Vette, so what! What I save by insuring 1 less car a month should more than make up for it, and I get to drive my passion everyday, instead of just the weekends. My only concern is when it snows. My DD now is rear wheel drive and it's a hand full.

^ I used my Z/28 as a DD up in Seattle, I know how you feel. Having just one or the other would be miserable there, you need a winter beater as well. I got tired of waiting myself, my Z has 118k miles and grows by the day. So I bought a 04 vette for now. I'm sure a GM certified Camaro Vert will be available for 5-15 k less in 2012 so I'll do it that way.

blacker than wesleysnipes- 98' trans am
i'm going to be 100% real with you...if you like something sorta rare and refreshing you should probably take a long good look at the new maro ss or z/28... if you love speed and just a all around better/sportier/GT stylish car then of course the c6 is the way to go..with that ls3...the mags say that that extra what 20hp is the fastest..best XX amount of hp they have ever driven...they say the increase is in the best places through out the powerband and completely changes the driving experience compared to the ls2 c6. unfortunatly i have not had a chance to drive a ls3 vette yet...but my friend has a 07' i think(last year of the ls2) and it was amazing so the 08 ls3 must be ungodly..
