    02 SS dyno numbers??

Hi, I have an 02 manual SS with the upgraded slp dual/dual exhaust and was wondering what the stock dyno numbers for my car should be. If anyone with the same car as mine has either stock or slightly modified (lid, ported tb, etc) dyno numbers, please post them!
    Thanks!

    true. that's why the range + or - 5,10rwhp...
weather, altitude, factory tune, tires type.. just a few of the minior factors why stock cars dyno differently. not to mention different dyno machines read slightly differently. I've seen some generous mustang dyno machines. etc...

I used a different dyno than you guys. it was a dynoperformance brand or something like that. I've got to look again at my sheets. This guy said this is the most accurate dyno and dyno jet typically dynos 15-17% higher. I'll get that name for you guys later. just dynoed this morning...

100% stock 272rwhp(they call this dyno the ego buster, I bet you see why)
272rwhp on this dyno =s about 313rwhp on dynojet

then we did another one with my lid and k&n filter

    lid+filter = 287.7rwhp=s about 330rwhp dyno jet

my 100% stock flywheel hp was about 354hp

I'll do a lot more mods and tune before I go again.

I hate the name but I was told a Mustang Dyno is the most accurate...

I have no real knowledge on dynos myself, my HP Shop and my Old time tuner
guy says use a Mustang Dyno?

i got mine done by chuck at hpe in northwest houston and i did 332 RWHP/345 RWTQ with a MTI lid and loudmouth catback as my only mods (and its an 02 Z28 M6). from what i understand thats considered pretty healthy without being crazy good. id say if you are bone stock, 310 to 315 but a lid is worth about 10 to 15 and a catback is worth about 5. my guess for you with having low mileage is going to be 323 rwhp and 336 rwtq

mustang dyno is not the most accurate. The price of that dyno machine is like $48,000 - $70,000 dyno jet is a little more and the dyno dynamics which is what I used costed the guy like $130,000... it does 1/4 runs and all kinds of other stuff! I'll get back to you later and let you know more.

Very Cool... sounds like you can teach me something here. Always willing to learn anything about tuning and etc.

I hate to trust the guy selling the service (on anything) unless I know myself, his equipment will always be the top of the line!
