02 Camaro SS with TA seats?

So I have tan interior... the driver seat is shot and all of the seats look crappy. I have found a donor TA to convert my auto to a 6 speed and it has tan interior in mint condition... So would it be gay to put TA seats in my SS keep in mind, it will never be a show car, it is a driver.

i dont think having ta seats would be gay at all. i think the ta seats are better than the camaro seats thats is just me but i like dark.

European Camaro's do have standaard TA seats, this because of the reason, all cars must have moveable headrests.

not gay...ta seats look, feel and are better than the plain bucket seats the camaro's come with. Even w/ your tan interior Black seats would look good...but if you have matching, that's best.

I would definitely do it! My front drivers seat is shot too. The leather is in good shape, but the foam is squashed on the left side and I feel like I'm driving on an angle.

I would love to find a nice pair of clean blk leather T/A seats to put in there.

There are a few threads floating around with pictures and I believe explanation on how to hook up the rails and connections.

I got them in my SS they are way better than the SS seats. I say do you won't regret it.

Lots of Camaro owners swap out the interior for TA interiors, its very common practice.

Is the TA tan darker than the Camaro?

the "European seats" of the Camaro are TA seats.
My Camaro is made in 2001, and the seats have the color "Ebony".

I have the ebony ta seats in my SS. I love the things, so much better than stock and they have adjustable bolsters and lumbar. I drove to California with them and not a single problem, very good upgrade.

I have my old '97 TA seats in my new to me 2000 SS, TA seats are 100 times more comfortable. There's alot of Camaros wtih TA/F-Bird leather.

I can assure you that Trans Am seats will be a wonderful addition to your Camaro! I have been overwhelmingly pleased with my decision to install the Trans Am seats in my Camaro last summer, and I've been enjoying their added comfort, support, and adjustability ever since! (I even painted the stock gray movement, lumbar, and side bolster support switches red to match the color of my red car and the red interior upgrades I've installed.)

One interesting fact that I learned during the installation of my Trans Am seats is that the master inflator for the lumbar and side boster air pockets of both the driver seat AND the passenger seat is located in the passenger seat only. (I tested the driver-side controls first and, at first, I coudn't figure out why I heard a mechanical inflation sound coming from the passenger seat. I initially thought that I'd wired the seat incorrectly, but was later surprised to learn that's how GM created this set-up.)
