I have a 98 LS1 10 bolts with 3.42 gears.

I don't think you received my reply directly(something about activation codes??)so I will reply here. Have you noticed nearly everyone is a 'junior member'?

Okay, the stock 10 bolt complete rear end that I have is from a 98 with low miles. Not sure if it has TCS, Let me know how to spot one easily. The only thing 'wrong' is 1)the low mile 3.42 gears were pulled out of the case for inspection, would need to be re-installed. and 2)I believe it would be cost prohibitive to ship 1/2 way across the US.

Shipping should be some were around $100 for freight shipping. If it does not have traction control it will have a hole in the top of the differential housing were an abs sensor goes. Or the ABS sensor may be in there.

How much do you want for the differential assy with gears?

Sorry, this one does have the ABS sensor at the top of the pumpkin.

You are welcome. Sorry I could not help you out. Good to talk to you all the same. Good luck in your search for that elusive TCS 10 bolt. There was a time when I was hot on the trail of converting my non-TCS/ASR Z/28 to TCS/ASR. Many people discouraged me. I ended up selling the parts that I did acquire. I only persued this as I lost a race to a new top end BMW in the rain. I just sat and spun when the light turned green while he took off--traction control no doubt along with other hi-dollar gadgetry. $75+K vs $22K car. My only loss. I caught up to him once we got on the freeway for 12 miles of >100mph wheee!!!
