they were different...the style changed in 1997...You got the 1993-1996 style and you got the upgraded 1997-2002 style.

got a nice one. old style, great condition. two small holes for toggle switches next to gear indicator plate with good boot, ring is broken, but still holds boot down. 125 shipped.
