Blue-Green Chameleon- 1998 Trans Am
WS6 hood
Hi everyone. New to this forum, but have had my 1998 T/A for a few months now. I'm have started looking for Ws6 hoods and decided to get one. I want to spend under $450-500. Would buy used a used factory one but those seem to be hard to come by. Any aftermarket companies anyone would recommend? Thanks for your help!

black w/ ghost stripes- 02 ws6
i've got an OEM hood off a 02 WS6. black in color and in great condition. want $700 + shipping for it.
i would not recommend buying any of the ebay junk hoods. been there, done that, and they are nothing but a PITA. OEM or a very high quality aftermarket hood. Remember, you get what you pay for.

White- 1998 Trans Am
I got a aftermarket WS6 from Certi-Fit. Fit is ok and it did need some prep work to make it nice but I have seen some much more expensive hoods that aren't much better. Mine was $250.

Have any pics of the hood and installed on your car? How about a web site for them?

Great looking car. Are you happy with the hood? Happen to have any pics of it before paint and prep? How's the fit? Their price seems to be the best going and their in OKC. Jason

Fit is pretty good. No worse that any other aftermarket hood I've seen. Hell I've seen sone WS6 OEM hoods that start looking off. My buddy had a 99 WS6 formula and his gaps were only a little better than mine. Great fit for the money. Nice as the 400 or 500 ebay hoods.
