Want to Trade LM1 exhaust for anything with a muffler.

Hey whats up guys i have a LM1 on my car currently. Its too loud though. I need something with a muffler that will connect to a 3 inch exhaust. Any one willing to trade or buy? My e-mail is cono38m5@optonline.net. It only has about 6,000 miles on it.

lm1 is slp's loud mouth cat back.
have you thought of buying the muffler that slp sells for the system. might be cheaper then getting complete new system. i think the muffler cost about 129, but could be wrong check slponline to check for proper price.

do u think the slp mufflers will deaden the sound? It looks just like the resonator i have on now.

slp made two differnet kind

the resonater with no filling to dampen the noise used on thr LM1
one that looks like the resonater but with filling used on the LM2 quieter then the LM1

I have long tubeheaders without cats and at first thought that they were loud but people liked the way it sounds. you don't have to shout to talk to people in or out of the car. i have heard camaros with th LM1 and agree that they are to loud try this instead.

try summit racing before slp for the part they might be cheaper and they can get it for you.

bry welding a borla xr-1 in there if you want to i know people do that and slightly gain some torque with a much quiter sound. ls1sounds has some "borlamouth" audio clips

I just ended up getting a new catback. I got a corsa exhaust. I heard there really quiet and dont drone. That should be good concidering that im going to put a cam in soon. Prob a Magic Stick 3

Well assuming that 300 bucks is not shipped....uh yeah... cause shipping on that would be at least 60-75 bucks so, yeah I'd rather have a shiny new one. Now if he were to do 300 shipped I might think about it.

That is what I did-when I told a few people the car felt like it had more torque they said I was nuts-I had no dyno proof, that the Borla XR-1 was a straight through design like the LM. I am glad you mentioned this cause I felt a differance when I got the BORLA ON. I had like 4 people (well little kids) freaking out on me.
