Lug Nut Covers.... Need some!
Guys,
As i am a fussy git.... I am missing one lug nut cover and three or four
of the others are a bit ratty with a split thread on a couple.
Does anybody have any good spares knocking around that you could have
head my way!??
Thanks
Trev

I believe I have a couple. They sell them at parts stores -- there are both short and tall ones. The caps are made by Dorman so you may be able to find them. Here is a link: Dorman/Wheel Nut Covers (611-605.1) | 2002 Pontiac Firebird 8 Cylinders G 5.7L SFI | AutoZone.com

I got sick of fussing over them and handed them all to a fellow owner in a parking lot a long time ago. Maybe you just want to replace the lugs themselves? That way, you won't have the same problem starting up next month?

Just go with the solid, tall chrome lug nuts, the covers break and it leaves you in the situation you're in now.

I always put a dab of black RTV on on the threads of the plastic nut covers when I install them to keep them from falling off. Works great!

Good old ebay comes to the rescue!
A seller in Florida had a listing for 5 good used for $10.
Cannot go far wrong at that price. It will sort out my one missing
and two chewed AND leave me with a couple of spares.
Good ideas about the chrome replacements but for the sake of three
plastic covers........
