I just bought my WS6 a few weeks ago, and I have been wondering what this piece was, where it went, and how it "adds power"

Can someone break it down for me?

For those of us with a "functional brain stem" it is totally functional and adds tons of power. How? It allows proper placement of a wet N2O nozzle. Duh! That's why you shouldn't talk down to the seller. He has a good part that is worth something to those of us who need to mount our nozzle. Jroc owes an apology on that.

It goes between the mass aif flow sensor and the trottle body....The stock piece is accordian like and is supposed to disrupt air flow...This piece smooths out the air flow

just checked - mine is the stock accordian looking one. ( I bought my car used, so i wasn't sure, because it has the SLP lid (at least that is the logo on it, so I assume it is aftermarket.
