FOR SALE: LS1 ENGINE W/ T56 6-SPEED 34,000 ORIGINAL MILES! PART-OUT OF A 2002 Z28.
$3000!!!

This will only be posted for maybe a week because I need to make a decision whether to buy the car back from insurance or let them keep it. The condition of the sale is that you must uninstall the motor & transmission yourself, as I do not have the tools or know-how to do it. I'm willing to help in any way possible though. The vehicle is currently being held in New Brunswick, NJ.

Back in February, I lost control on an icy bridge and had a front & rear impact with the median. Because of the bent chasis between the front bumper support & wheel-well it is deemed irrepairable by my ins company. The engine always ran great and the trans gave me no problems. The car will turn right over, but I haven't since I moved it off the bridge due to a coolant leak (most likely radiator cracked on impact). The vehicle was immediately turned off once I saw it go over operating temperature but it DID NOT hit red-line on the temp guage.

SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY!!! I am a college student and need to be back on the road ASAP so I cannot fiddle around anymore. I'm thinking the price is a good comprimise for the condition that you drop the motor & transmission yourself.
