i bought them to put in my 97 TA but now i dont need them there brand new never touched . with a deluxe install kit that has everything. they cost me over $300 at ws6store, but i need to get rid of them right now so

GM 7.5" & 7.625" AXLE 3.73:1 RATIO, 3.23 OR # HIGHER OEM GEAR FOR 10 BOLT REAREND.

thats what it will fit . its for 93-97 f-body so if you have that then it will fit but im not sure on the carrier i didnt think they were different

sure they'll work in a 01 they all have the same rear end as long as it has a the 3 carrier in it and if yours is a z28 then its a 3 carrier becasue you have 3.42 in it right now. i can work on the price if you take them now

Will it work in a 99 trans am non-Ws6? I dont know about the 2 or 3.

You need to check to see what carrier you have. Check your code chart on the side of the drivers door. If you have 2.73s then you have a 2 series and these WONT work..

otherwise you have 3.23s/3.43s (?) and a 3 series and there WILL work

thanks for the inlight i couldnt explain it better. and if you dont have the org. rear end look on the rearend it self im pretty sure it is stamped on it.

how do i double check to see what i have, just to make sure? what kind of results will i see if i upgrade to these gears? will it affect my mileage? why did you decide not to use them? pm me on what kind of deal you can do. thanks

Check your RPO codes for the current ratio you have. If you have 2.73s, they wont fit, like BBB said. Or lift your car up, throw it in neutral, and do it the old fashioned way.
