Hey guys i have a DIABLO SPORT PREDATOR tuner that i am selling. I used it for my 2002 camaro. it is about 2 years old, and needs to be unlocked. I havent used it very much at all since i had my car tuned, and now im going to buy HP tuners so i really have no need. I am asking $75 shipped. if you have any questions or would like some pics. you have to send it to diablo and they unlock it. im not sure how much it is. there might be someone who could do it for you, not really sure...

The diablo's lock when it downloads the factory tune. There are two ways to unlock it. One is what Dr. Crash suggested. The other is to re-install the factory tune into the car, or at least that's what I gathered off of the Diablo forums.

well i put the factory tune back on the car a looooooong (about two months after i got it) time ago. so if thats the case then its unlocked.

The tuner is locked and needs to be sent to diablo to be unlocked.

i went through this when i got my predator...1. if you have the recipt diablo will unlock it for you for free 2. If you dont it is $99 to unlock

ok so heres the update....

i just got SLP to send me a copy of the original reciept. so now i can send it back and get it unlocked. now the question, i am selling it for $75. now if who ever wants to buy it gives me the extra $100 or so (what ever they charge) i can do the upgrade program thing. its up to who ever want to buy it. let me know

I understand you have to have a receipt for it to get them to unlock it. I have a 2000 Firebird Formula and need one. ALso, do you have the power transformer and the RS232 or other computer cable?
Did you buy it from SLP? What custom tune is in it? Or, was it a something special done just for your car/mods like heads, cam, CAI, Exhaust, Headers, etc.? Tell me about the tune, what mods were done and if it is a custom tune or just the SLP tune.
