    this is a great dd cam. the 112 lsa will be a little choppy.

    I have that exact cam with the 114 LSA cuz I'm an A4. Great cam, got good numbers out of it. I actually wish my idle was a little choppier like the 112.
    2000 WS6 TA #2946 - A4, Best 1/4: 12.5s @111mph.
    SLP LTs, 228r Cam, SY 3500, Shift kit, LS6 intake, underdrive pulleys, lid, p&p TB, Borla w/ cutout, Pro-kit springs, poly all around, Hotchkis suspension, 3.90 gears, tuned.

    you only went 12.50's with all that in your sig? or is that an out set up? you should be close to 11's with all that.

    Pretty much a newb with cams. I've spent the last couple of hours reading about them and figuring out what all the numbers stand for. I had to stop because me head started to hurt, lol. I do have a question about the came. Would you need new valve spring with this cam or is it to radical of a lift?

    Yes, springs would be a good addition, not to be overlooked with this lift.
    And then while yer at it, retainers, locks, ..., pushrods, ..., oil pump, timing chain set, ..., it never ends, ...,
