how bad is the heat soak?

Not actually that bad. If I put my hand to it after I have been driving a bit it is warm but maybe after a minute or so it starts to hurt a bit but not scolding yet. I haven't ever measured the temperature on it.

You can just google Professional Products intake manifold and you will find out info about them. Heat soak is what can happen to aluminum intakes. Aluminum intakes tend to heat up faster which heats up the air coming into the engine, and you want cool air coming into the engine. It can rob you of horsepower but with this intake it isn't to bad.

this ^^^ just a tip though if you buy this intake DO NOT PAINT IT. did some research and the natural finish disperses the heat okay but i painted it acts like an oven.

if i end up with this WS6 sunday ill see you about that voolant. but ended up getting that fast from the guy locally fyi
