'95 Z28 conv for sale or part out...
My Z28 was hit in the front end and I am lookong to sell it or part out the thing. It's black with a tan top and tan interior. The LT1 engine has about 100k miles on it. It has SLP headers, msd coil, and a pretty new opti-spark. The trans was rebuilt 2 weeks before accident with the steel shift forks, a new Centerforce DF clutch and a new SLP flywheel (over $3,000 worth right there.) The rear has a aburn gear posi and 4.10 gears. The car has subframe con, kyb shocks, LPE 3.5" driveshaft and a Random Tech torque arm.
I'm looking to get rid of it, so I want $2,500 for the car or make offer to part out.

The front seats are spoken for (pending), but a lot of the interior is the same for the LS1s and the LT1 cars. So is the most of chassis of the cars.

They are Kenny Brown double-diamond weld in sub-frame connectors.
Try talking to a shop that deals with custom interiors. They would know how to install tops, they probally can reglue it back in.

Just let me know that parts you want and I will take them off the car and then ship them to you. The driveshft and the torque arm will fit on the LS1 cars.

Sorry, I haven't been on the board in a while.
The car is located in So. CA - Near Los Angeles.
Yes, I should be able to grind them off - I think $150 should work.

I looked at a web site that was selling them, and they didn't show a difference between the two. I don't see any difference in the floorboard between the two types. The connectors do tie into the convertible floor brace (3 point), I'll include the brace if you want. I'm sure they will fit onto a coupe just the same.

So how much for the Engine, Trans, Driveshaft, Wiring harness and ECU?
Or just the trans and clutch?
Thanks,
Greg

Trans and clutch would be $1500. It was just rebuilt with the steel shift fork, new synchos and bearings. The clutch in a new Centerforce Dual Friction. Both those have less the 100 miles on them before the accident.
Engine and everything related (ECM, headers, wiring and injectors) $1500.
Or I'll make a deal for what you want. Just let know what your intrested in. The parts are still on the car (best place to store them), give me a call (909)702-4340.
