3.73 Gears With Install Kit

hey everyone! I have a brand new set of 3.73 Gears and Installation Kit still in the box for sale. I bought them from sam strano at stranoparts.com. I'm looking to sell them for 250+shipping, as i bought them for about 350+shipping. I'm using the money i get to buy an LS6 Intake Manifold, so I will also take trades for that as well.

Yessir. I was going to put them in but I have too many miles on my stock rearend, so I'm going with the manifold instead

They have 308 gear and lower carrier thats a 2 seriers carrier and 323 gear and higher carrier that 3 seriers carrier.

They make 373s for 2 seriers carriers..What gear does the car have in it that you was gonna install it in..

My car is a 98 z28 m6. And if I'm not mistaken they came stock with 3.42 gears

that means its a 3 series carrier. Its based off whatever factory gear is in the car... Now, next ?, is the car 3 or 4 channel abs??? If its 3 channel the ring gear will have an exiter ring on it and the rearend will have a sensor on the top in the center of the chunck. 4 wheel will have two sensor on the outer outer axle tubes where the brakes mount on the axles. This is all important to make sure the abs stays functional...

Have done 2 swaps, LT and LS cars, I have no clue what he's talking about, the biggest PITA was the shims

Did you order them for YOUR car specifically? Did you specify what gear was in your car when you ordered it? I have a friend that is interested, he's rolling on 2.73s right now though (which would be a 2 series carrier), so just wondering if these will work

I did order them for my car specifically, which come with 3.42 gears, so my cars are 3 series sorry

the 3channel exciter ring is mounted on the carrier and not on the ring gear. changing gears ONLY will not affect 3 or 4 channel operation.
