    243 heads with extras

    I have a set of stock 243s that were pulled off a working 2004 Z06 when he went bigger

    They are stripped down to the bare heads, the only thing left is the old valve guides.

    I also have:

    stock LS1/LS6 rockers with the Comp Cams Trunion upgrade installed, and mounted with GM factory pedestals and bolts.

    The original valves and springs (not the yellow sodium filled)

    LS2 double roller timing chain.

    Pro-Form spring compressor, its nice because it compresses both the intake and exhaust at the same time, can be used with the heads installed, and use a single Allen head bolt, so once compressed, your hands are free to do whatever.

    Looking for $550 for all of it, I'd prefer a relatively local pick up, but I'm sure something could be arranged.

    Not that I can tell, they were taken off of a perfectly working C5 Z06. The owner and I had a mutual friend, one of the local car guys, car didnt tick or smoke or anything. He was just swapping them for one of those ported CNC sets and a big ass cam. I had the cam and lifters but sold those last year.

    I believe the car had something like 4Xk on it. The rockers came from another car, a member here actually, I dont know the miles, but judging buy the owners rampant mod bug infection, I'm sure they were low.

    So heres about what I have tied up in it

    Heads - $350
    Rockers and Trunion kit -$220
    Pedestals - $20
    LS2 Timing chain - $50
    Lifter Trays - $32
    Spring Compressor - $90

    So thats $762 to build this exact thing...IF you can find a set of heads with springs, valves, and retainers for $350

    Im looking for roughly 75% return
