i dont see how this could help at all. if anything the hydrualic pump will cause losses, and the gains from the 'motor' on the front wheel cant be more than negligible.

That things gotta be a bitch to launch from a stop.. or not.. wouldn't it just do the same thing as a rear wheel drive bike since i'm guessin they didn't add much weight to the front... whats the point of this little project lol it might of helped handling a little in bad conditions i guess but other than that this is kinda pointless imo...

They found mpg increase proving better efficiency. weird huh

great design that is fairly lightweight... my concern would be how much torque is behind the hyrdaulic set up, meaning how much resistance can the front wheel handle until the system fails and the front wheel becomes floating.

I see many advantages to this system... anyone who knows basic physics or has ever driven something rwd drive or a bike knows the friction resistance against the front wheel is what causes the back end to spin out. With a front wheel on a bike having its own power to combat the rolling friction, you will be able to take turns faster without the back wheel sliding out.

i wish they gave numbers. no matter what the total power HAS to be less.

ideally wouldnt you want 50/50 power distribution?

most definitely, however even if its 30/70 or 40/60 or 20/80... the difference does allow you to push the bike harder through the turns

they need to put it in this bike ... http://www.motoczysz.com/main.php?area=07C1 ... with all the innovations of the Motoczysz, that'll just be the cherry on top and should dominate the MotoGP!

Interesting design. Alot better than the Suzuki NUDA concept of the late 80s.

if it had a varied controlled for it almost like a lsd kinda deal it would be very practicle... with out something like that i'd be worried about that front tire spinning under throttle on a tight corner...

wonder if that additional cable running into it on the hub is some sort of proportioning valve adjustment to adjust that according to throttle input/speed/etc.

there are two lines, one for a hydraulic supply and one for a return.

no, I mean the 3rd little cable like line. You can see it when the camera is focused on the front hub around 4:00

i dunno.....most 1000cc bikes pretty much hang the front wheel in the air through the first 3 gears, so how much does this actually help?
