Xtend Cab Small Trucks?
Ok, I was wondering what small trucks have a bench seat vs jump seats on the extended cab models.
for example I think the 97+ dodge dakotas have a small bench seat in the extended camp.
I know some years of Nissan have jump seats.
I'm only interested in the US trucks.
thanks

Small trucks absolutely suck. I had a s-10 extendended cab not enough room to store a cat. get a full size!!!

I'm just looking for a beach beater and home depot truck. I don't want the jump seats because I don't want the kids sitting in them. I would prefer a bench.
I was shooting for a 4 banger with a manual. The Ram I used to own was the 318 with 5 speed. It wasn't too bad on gas. I think it had like a 3.51:1 rear or something, not sure. I think it averaged like 20 MPG or something like that, can't remember.
I know the Dakota 4 banger I had averaged like 24-25 MPG. Yeah those 4 bangers are not as economical as you think. I had 2 PT Cruisers that only avg 23 MPG.

Yotas have a semi bench back seat...they fold down from the back of the cab but there's also a little center console thing. Bench seat or jumpers it really doesn't matter...either way the extended cabs in small pickups are good for nothing but storage.

the only small truck with back seat that is worth it is the dakota, i think everything else has jump seats, or if it is a bench there is absolutely no leg room even for a child. Ive had people in the back of my extended cab without too many problems.
Its also the best truck EVAR!!!!

that's what I was thinking. I have my complaints about Mopars, but that's a long story. I'm just glad Daimler sold the division. IMO Daimler ruined the company in the worst way.
At least I have exp with their trucks, the old 4 banger, 318 and the 360. I would rather find a beach beater that I knew something about or could ask my family. They are big GM/Chevy truck owners.
