    x box live help

hey all, i got x box live but for some reason it boots me out of games...trying to play halo 3, but everytime i try to do matchmaking it says my NAT is not open, it is set to strict or moderate, i CAN play online at times so do you think my router is x box compatible, because i've heard that if it wasn't then i wouldn't be able to play online at all. I've connected my router with an ethernet cable, cut the power to my router, and restarted it hoping that it would "open" it up but no good, is there any settings on the dash board that i would have to mess with?

Check the xbox support website to find out about it... you might need to log into your router from your computer to change the settings to allow it.

The NAT settings are in the router, or set by your ISP itself. They are a hardcore pain in the ass to change properly.
