    Any judge that allows this lawsuit go anywhere is a fool. The Lawyer is a fool. This is part of the cops job. If she didnt want to get hurt she should have chosen to be a school teacher.(well maybe not, they are getting shot and arent allowed to defend themselves)

    But I just want to know where were the parents when the kid fell in the pool. I have a pool, my daughter is 8 and is an excellent swimmer, but I would never let her near it without me out there with her. Too many kids drown here in Florida because these damn parents dont watch their kids. We had to pay an extra $1500 when we built our pool to put alarms on our doors because parents dont take care of their kids, so the government had to make a law to protect the kids. But nothing is ever done when one drowns. Nobody is ever held responsible.


    Playing devil's advocate here, but maybe this cop is just tired of seeing babies and todlers dying because of negligent parents and they wont prosecute them so she figured she would sue. Just a thought.
