Black/Purple Marble- 1995 Camaro
would this work on a 01 Firehawk for about 400hp?
I am almost ready to pickup a 2001 Firehawk, and I would like to lightly build it and looking for around 400 hp at the flywheel, preferably N/A.
What would be a good list of mods to get this project going. It already has a borla cat-back, and a K&N intake that I was considering changing for a SLP RamAir.

Red Tint Jewelcoat- 2008 Trailblazer SS
You can make 400 at the wheels pretty easily with these cars.
224 or a 228 cam and a good tune with bolt-ons.

Pewter- all bore 370 Trans Am
a 224 or 228 will net you on avg anywhere from 37x-38x. there are some that have hit higher, but very few. i think a 228 110 +0 on xer/lsk lobes would get you the hp, have a good amount of torque and give you the numbers. id have to look at the lobe profiles and what not to get the ivcs and what not, but yeah...enough of that

No nitro for this one, and No I was not going to change the hood! The only reason I even want this one to stay n/a is I want to keep it pretty factory to make sure I don't hurt the value, too rare to race out for me. I'll find a TransAm or Z28 for that. As far as the ram air, it looked like the ram air would just bolt in no problem, but if the K&N is a better system then I'll just leave it. Headers are a definate, and a ls6 intake is without a doubt. I was also thinking about ported heads from AFR, or TPIS, and the cam.
So I'll get started on that one hopefully here soon, headers and intake will get done soon. Then I'll start into a cam and maybe pistons for a little more compression I want to burn 100 octane for the track and 92-93 daily. Will the factory crank ect hold that? Figure around 12:1 to burn 100 octane if I'm correct.
