Working out
what do you do to stay in shape? post your workouts i need some ideas. since my accident last year i went from 189lbs of muscle to 235lbs of fat... trying to drop back down to my fight weight.
so far ive been running at least 2 miles a day, sometimes with plastic bags and sweatshirts
curls
abs
bench
military press
leg lifts
pretty basic stuff, shit i did in wrestling all through highschool
anybody take any supplements???

I take superpump 250 which is a nitric oxide supplement, I switch between cellmass and sizeon which are creatine supps, whey protein, multivitamin, omega 3 fatty acids, and chondroiton sulfate.

chicken, lots of chicken, egg whites, real oatmeal, cottage cheese etc and tons of cardio. Lifting is good since muscle is living tissue and needs calories to stay alive. What ever you do lift first then do cardio and visit www.fitnessgeared.com has a forum just like here but about working out/weight loss etc

I am a personal trainer. What are your goals? You want to get down to that weight by losing weight or losing weight + gaining muscle = "toned, athletic look?"

I was 235 two weeks ago. Since then I started this routine:
Cardio (before work):
M-F 45 minutes (fasted)
Lifting (in the evenings):
Monday: Triceps, Chest
Wednesday: Back, Biceps, Shoulders
Friday: Legs
I do 4 exercises per muscle group, 3-4 sets of 10 reps. My routines very depending on how busy the gym is and what equipment I have access to.
Diet:
I've upped my protein intake drastically and avoid carb only meals. I've also lowered my carb intake alot. I have cut out fast food, junk food and soda. I take a multivitamin, but no supplements aside from whey protein. I also drink lots of water.
I've dropped 5 pounds in the past two weeks. Hoping to stay with it for the next 3 months.Last edited by DanWS6; 05-06-2007 at 02:43 PM.

3-4 sets of 10? Whats your rep scheme for something smaller like biceps or triceps?

Working out not only prolongs one's life....it also nets you higher quality pussy! Oh yeah..it also increased the quantity of that quality!

I do bench press, military press, pull downs and abs on monday and thursday; and squats, leg curls, calf raises, and biceps/triceps on tuesday and friday. I started doing that at the end of february this year and have gained ~12 pounds of muscle since. Now that I'm home for the summer I plan on running a lot more to get my abs to show again
