Fabwork would be involved dude, more then anyone on this site is gonna be able to jus flat out tell you off hand. The answer is, Maybe?
Ford made some great big block engines man. why would you wanna go through that kinda extra work? Building a car to stock specs is hard enough as is.

you can pretty much put any transmission behind it that you want.......the cheapest might be going with a TH350 or TH400 since it bolts right up...
and then on the other side of the coin, I bet you could buy an adapter plate/kit to put a C6 behind that 454, and then you might be able to use a stock transmission mount and crossmember.....
Pick your poison buddy..........have fun with the headaches, and let us know how it went!

dude its a job, I did the auto to manual swap on my Chevelle, and I would never do it again, if that just gives you a baseline, becuase whenever u think u have every part you need to complete the job. U dont have the part and you have to track it down. its a total Bitch IMO

I don't know the specs but I think Mustangs are a bitch for big block Fords anyway. Shock towers too narrow or something of the like.
I mean, you could do it and get one of those Built Ford Tough With Chevy Stuff stickers but meh....
