I went in 97, I think its a waste of money. I learned everything in my high school autobody class. They didnt teach us anything new there.

i've heard that. they sure have a sales pitch, ill say that much. we get kids that go to these schools working at some of the places i've been and they dont make any money. The school jus shows them how to do things that absolute to the last detail way of doing things. Hence why they are slow and under deliver. real world experience is the best.

I'm a Wyotech student at the West Sacramento, Ca campus. I was a student at the Laramie campus in 2001 and I didn't like it one single bit outside of school. If I were you, I'd look into the West Sacramento campus before you make your decision.

I went to NADC. Nashville Auto Diesel College. I went for gas engines, diesel engines, heavy duty/ light duty drivetrain, transmission, welding, hydraulics, and quite a few others.
Then at the end I decided to go for the High-Performance gas engine 10 week course. That was the best thing I have ever done. The most fun class I have ever been threw. Learned so much, even though Im not using that in my career path as of now. I still loved it.

I didnt have to go, my dad used to teach the place here in PA thats now Wyotech... I restore cars as a profession, Id say its good for a piece of paper. I learned far more on my own than any school could teach me.
