It is a ZZ4 crate motor with the Holley Stealth Ram MPFI intake manifold, hooker super competition longtubes, and SLP loudmouth. Not many supsension mods yet, just Spohn SFC and torque arm/crossmember. No EGR, AIR, or cats. It has an LT1 T56 with the fidanza aluminum flywheel and a McLeod single disc clutch. I also have C5 brakes and an LS1 3.42 rear. Hopefully soon I'll have my heads and cam installed, I have a set of heads that flows 310cfm @.600 ready to go on along with a 230/236 .596/.591 113 LSA cam. That sure beats the baby ZZ4 cam in there now (208/221 .474/.510 112 LSA).

12.8 @ 107, never been to the dyno though, I'm on a mail order tune. I'd guess something like 310rwhp 360rwtq. A guy on ls1gto.com had the same crate engine and intake manifold and made about that.

They better be for 1600$. They are fully ported TFS bare castings with Comp 918s and titanium retainers. I'm pretty much good to go on my build I just need the $$ now for the necessary fuel mods and a 12 bolt.

Why not with the money spent just drop an ls1 in the car?

That would take way more money then I have. Probably 6k for an engine alone, then I'd need an LS1 specific T56 as well. 1600 on heads, 240$ on my cam, and probably about 1200$ in other supporting mods and I'll be in the 425rwhp range which is enough for me. An LS1 swap is big bucks. I bought this car with the new engine and T56 and all that already. I paid for and installed the flywheel, clutch, and C5 brakes. Everything else I've bought is still sitting around waiting to go on.

I was planning on saying a big good bye to our old Nittos but the replacements arrived to close to our road trip to G10 so they're just camping out in the garage.

never was a fan of third gen fbods but that 91 z28 is sweet. i also admire the ingenuity to use good parts from other gm models to make your car better. this is a very common practice in the fox body mustang world. that z28 looks like it hauls ass now and its gonna be way faster with some trick flow heads. if you guys didnt know i am a HUGE fan of trick flow products. my heads cam and intake are all trick flow. no problems at all with any of their stuff except that it allows me to destroy tires lol oh yeah props on your car control, a less capable driver would have a nice shot at that ditch on the right gettin squirrely like that.
