Whats the name of this part
Hey all
I come from europe and my english is not the best. Now i have a troubles with our streetlaws. I mounted on my camaro new Rims TTA 9x17 and 10.5x17 and yester i was on the road street office, i know american people have that not. Its very laborious the people from the road office want to see that nothing rubs in all situation. Lol they drove my camaro with 3 peoples over a speedbumber with 35 mph, than they turn a circle with 20 mphs and my tires rubs in the wheelhose. Now im still looking for Federwegbegrenzer, the problem i dont know the name in english, coils spring way limiter? I mean a part, that reduce the collide of the coil spring.
Here is a link with picures....
thanks
Robert

hmm... never seen one used here before... your best bet is to get a hammer and dent the wheel wells untill the tire doesn't rub anymore... it sounds like the wrong rim offset size...

I beileve those are called Spring Travel Limiters... but I'm not 100%...
I've never seen them before but they look to be an offshoot of the chain kind...

Robert,
You might be looking for Jounce Bumpers. These were used on all of the 4th Gen F Body cars with 17" wheels to raise the suspension bumper to prevent the wheels from contacting the fender well.
Kentucky Speed sells them as part number 80046. http://kentucky-speed.com/slp-slp-93...083501e874bd06
Price is only $25.70.
Hope this helps.

Your wheels aren't allowed to rub the wheel well...? Even when at a full adult load? Wow that's strict.
But it's awesome to talk to a guy in Switzerland with a Z28! Rock on Swiss brother!
